NVR Lite Edition Trial Guide
Overview
NVR Lite Edition is a function-reduced version of Genius Vision All-in-One NVR Software that provides economic price for customers to gain more competitive edge on the market. It is a different software package, you can download trial NVR Lite Edition software here.
There are two types of license of NVR Lite Edition
- Internet license - Available for purchase through online web store using PayPal. Internet license can support the camera matrix listed on the official website (not guaranteed, please read camera matrix for details).
- MAC-address license - Only available through OEM camera factory channels. Licensed in 100+ volume and can only connect to ONVIF camera in LAN (local-area network).
Auto-Trial Mode (without any license installed)
NVR Lite Edition automatically enters auto-trial mode if without any valid license installed or detected. In this mode, only ONVIF camera can be used, and is limited to 4-channels and 24 hours of continuous use.
However after installing Internet license, the licensed camera can support the camera matrix listed on the official website (not guaranteed).
To test, try, evaluate, or simulate licensed camera on NVR Lite Edition, one can use trial version of Commercial Edition, without looking at the software full function set. The camera function of the Commercial Edition is basically the same as Lite Edition.
Currently this is the only way to try out NVR Lite Edition Internet License. Therefore, we recommend you to use ONVIF camera to avoid potential or unexpected problems.
If you are not sure whether or not your camera support ONVIF, you may refer to our ONVIF camera matrix. If your camera is not listed, you may urge your supplier or manufacturer to participate our free ONVIF verification program.
OEM Trial Mode
This option is only available through OEM camera factory and not for other users. In this mode, we offer trial to use a single logo and 10 MAC-address of cameras. Please contact us for obtain OEM trial information.

Does the NVR Lite Edition software has any logo?
On the outlook, the NVR Lite software looks neutral, but there is a hidden Genius Vision publisher's digital signature embedded inside which is generally invisible to users. You can pay a small annual fee to remove it.
Do you have brand-neutral version of mobile APPs for iOS and Android platform?
