What is AplusView and what is the relationship between AplusView and Genius Vision?
"AplusView" was an OEM rebrand of Genius Vision NVR older version of software. It was a project between Asoni (who is Genius Vision's customer) and Genius Vision. This contract between Asoni and Genius Vision was expired at Jan. 21th, 2017, and as a result, software edition of AplusView will cease to function. More information please check following topics:
After commercial negotiation, the actual date of access termination to Genius Vision License Server is determined to be June. 30th, 2017. All AplusView license must be committed to hardware before this date, otherwise all license will be invalidated. More information please check following topics:

Although the software outlook of Genius Vision NVR and AplusView shares some similarities, the two software should be considered as different software. Users should not mix the usage of the two different software. All tests conducted with AplusView should not be considered as the exact same result of as with Genius Vision NVR. The business model between Genius Vision and AplusView is also different. If customers that were used to deal with Asoni intend to adopt Genius Vision NVR, they must deal with Genius Vision as a completely new vendor.
