How long is the NVR software trial period? Can you extend the trial period (demo license)?
We have several editions of software, each with different trial periods or usage terms:

NVR Subscription Edition has a maximum trial period of 7 days. After that users can pay and convert trial product items to formal license. Also there's a limit of 1 trial product item per user. |

NVR Commercial Edition comes with default demo license ( 8-channel intelligent video with panoramic capabilities) automatically activated on the first time of installation. Continuous Internet connection is required for the default demo license to be effective. More demo license can be obtained using instructions described here. Trial period is limited to 30 days. |

NVR Lite Edition automatically enters auto-trial mode if without any valid license installed or detected. In this mode, only ONVIF camera can be used, and is limited to 4-channels and 24 hours of continuous use. Detailed info please refer to this page. Extending demo license by registering
From above, we can understand that except for Community Edition, you can obtain additional demo license using the instructions "How to register to request demo license". There is, however, a 2-month trial period limit for the demo license that is acquired by such instructions. and it will not be extended any longer.
